The #93 Meyer Shank Acura is currently in the pits, after stopping on track with Alex Palou at the wheel, in the fifth hour of the 2025 Daytona 24 Hours.
The Spaniard, a 3-time Indycar champion, was running just inside the top 10 at the time. The car's break down caused a full course yellow, eliminating gaps built over the past couple of hours.
The car was towed back to the pits and, once back in the Acura garage, mechanics swarmed all over it.
Acura and HRC representatives have confirmed to The Racing Line that the car has a rear left suspension failure. The mechanics removed most of the bodywork and at least some of the floor as they worked as fast as possible to get the car back out on track and in the race.
